As the Creative Director for Kobalt, I managed, led, and inspired the design, across all touch points of the business, ensuring that the creative and the company goals were aligned. Our team’s job was to ensure a consistent look and feel across all communication, both internal and external.
Working closely with the international offices and the marketing and product teams in LA and London we developed a cohesive worldwide brand representation. This included creating original content and franchises, launching new campaigns, planning and designing event activations, creating brand and marketing collateral, as well as producing many other assets to support our artists, writers, and company.
We designed out two entirely new office spaces in partnership with award-winning agency, Rapt Studio. We distilled the brand down and worked together to create comfortable, welcoming environments that struck a balance between both music and technology.
During my time at Kobalt, we were named Music Week’s Publisher of the Year (2018), ASCAP’s Independent Publisher of the Year (2019), and added to Fast Company’s list of Most Innovative Companies three years in a row (2017-2019).
